ENNO (2023)

ENNO was my very first film.
I focused on visuals, effects, and sound design, aiming to translate a feeling into a cinematic experience.

Looking back, I am very grateful for this project. It became a formative learning experience, shaped by practice, challenges, and mistakes—particularly in writing, shooting, and producing.

This film was created entirely without the use of AI tools.

PLOT
Enno is a young man struggling with unresolved inner conflicts he cannot put into words. Instead of confronting his emotions, he numbs them by following the influence of false friends and casual drug use. What begins as an escape slowly turns into a pattern. He avoids responsibility, repeats the same choices, and drifts further away from himself.

The film captures Enno at the very beginning of this downward spiral, before addiction fully takes hold and at a crucial moment of decision. He stands between two paths. He could face his problems and ask for help, or he could choose the easier route of suppression and return to the same destructive environment. Trapped in this cycle of avoidance, Enno is not without options but emotionally exhausted. He is stuck in a state of powerlessness, marked by emptiness, loss of direction, and a quiet sense of being lost.
